Engagement in the AI office
It is official! For everyone who doesn't already know:Ildiko Kostyak and Ryan Sheppard from the AI team are now engaged!
Ildi and Ryan have been engaged since March 10th. You can send any well wishes to ildikok@ai.aiesec.org and ryans@ai.aiesec.org.

Home in Mexico
It feels so great to be back in an Iberoamerican country!! I've been here since the middle of March for AXLDS and will stay here for a country visit now that the conference is over. For me coming here has been like coming home, it just feels so familiar. Some of the highlights of my trip so far include:
Seeing and working physically with my GN Board. It was great to meet up with Piret, Sarah, and Filipe. What was especially cool was that our first dinner together we were all speaking Spanish. Imagine, a Canadian, Estonian, American, and Brazilian having a full conversation in Spanish!
AXLDS facilitators! It was a privilege and an honour for me to work with these amazing individuals to deliver the conference. We truly came together and formed an awesome team.
The OC! WOW! Such an amazing job; anytime we needed something they were right there making sure we had everything we needed to deliver an awesome conference. Congratulations to AIESEC in Mexico for a job well done!

Ser Mas coming to life! Just before the conference kicked off we had a 2-day meeting for the Ser Mas Haciendo la Diferencia Program (the social entrepreneurship program in SSGN), sponsored by Artemisia and the Kellogg Foundation. It was incredible to have the opportunity to interact with 17 ex-trainees (some of whom are current MC members, LCPs, and Project Directors in SSGN). So cool that we also got some great T-shirts! (see below!)
A landmark AXLDS...say what? At the beginning of the conference the facilitators team made a conference that this would be the conference that would be the foundation for a new era in SSGN...and we're now in search a new name for the conference, one which truly reflects what happens so that SSGN can come together and be more. The conference was just AWESOME! Below the Smart and Sexy GN posing to remember our amazing week together.
Spanish Speaking Presidents Meeting. Just after AXLDS, the MCP-elects of SSGN came together to agree on what actions need to be taken in the next months to move forward Ser Mas implementation until IC to get the results we want to get. It was so great to meet together. Below some of the MCPs during the last meeting. Thank you MC Mexico for hosting us at your beautiful offices!
And lucky me I'm still going to be in Mexico for another while for more adventures in SSGN!
